Creating the Assets

The first object I started was the cocktail shaker, I chose this as it seemed not to difficult to start. I used two cylinders for the top and bottom half and modeled them until I reached the final look. this object was fairly simple however in hindsight I should have increased the subdivision axis as in the final render the edges are visible, at the time I used soften edges which made me unaware of this issue.

As with all the consequent models I used substance painter to texture them, with one exception. At first I planned on having multiple textures on the shaker ,however, after testing this and using the references I believed the best way to go was a single texture.

The second object was the jigger, the process of creating this was similar to the previous object however I did improve by adding more subdivisions from the start. With both of the first objects I kept the style closer to the setting of a bar than the theme of Halloween, I chose to do this as practical objects such as these don’t often come in any form other than the standard one.
