Leadership & Teamwork

As stated in the previous entry, each member had a clear role as part of the project therefore in general team members did not need to work directly with each other to complete a piece of work. However, with that being said we still communicated regardless as otherwise things may stray from the original objective.

As the leader Jasmine sorted out communication channels that were used throughout the production process. Through these channels I would talk with team members about the project. At the start of the project both me and other team members would talk about the ideas for the project, we would raise different ideas and with permission for every member we would eventually have our plan. After this I would start work on my part (UI), I came up with several ideas for different interfaces and would discuss with the team about which ones would be best. This would be how most of my work was done from there on, create mock ups, get feedback, then create a final more polished design.

At times communication would slow which created some difficulty with my work flow, however in that case I would move onto a different area and come back to the previous in time. Another problem would be the scope of our project, at the start we vaguely set up a end goal, however as time progressed various aspects would have to be dropped or altered in order to have a finished final project.

In the end due to the framework put in place (Discord and Trello), I was able to gather all completed assets and produce a prototype for the final product. I believe through a bit more communication and planning more could have been achieved but I still see the project as a success.
