I believe a comic isn’t a comic without narrative of space over time, comics tell stories and although they may vary all stories involve time. The example below is an example of a page/section of a comic of which would be hosted on the Last Page website. The comic tells a story of a gun being fired and the bullet curving around a target. The time in this piece starts from the bullet just exiting the gun to it hitting the target, this time is then visualised by the comic as the objects in the scenes change location. By the separation through borders of each scene it can also be inferred that time is changing in each scene, and inversely one panel being bigger that the others can be seen as a big event all happening at once. In this instance the time frame is small and therefore there isn’t many panels, but if this event was to happen over hours for example, you could expect many more panels as each panel adds more time to the story. One extra detail to mention is the motion lines as they are the main indication of movement within this still image.
