Production Piece Additional Notes No.2

In contrast to the first two objects, the bar station involved a lot of separate objects. I combined several objects together in order to form the bar station’s shape, I did this because it is accurate to how it would be made in real life. I also had to create grate-like objects as a part of the station, to do this I used several cylinders and used the Difference tool.

The mirror was quite different to the previous objects. I started by creating the shape, from my research I decided to go with a large standing mirror. Once I had a basic shape I then, after consideration, decided to add more details in order to give a bit more of Halloween theme. On the exterior I added edge and corner ornaments with appearances mimicking a cobweb-like shape.

Once I had the final model I then had to texture it. Since it is a mirror it would have to be reflective, to do so I selected the face that I wanted as the actual mirror and gave it a new material. In order to make it reflective I went into the material settings and changed metalness to 1 and specular roughness to 0. Once that was done I finished up by texturing the rest of the model.
