The subject of my poster is ‘The Duality of Human Nature’, therefore, the concept of the poster will revolve around humans and feelings. I created a few sketches and notes to give a sense of what the poster should look like.

In my notes I focused on three different topics: Juxtaposition, Colours, Themes.
Juxtaposition involves the two sides of duality and how I will physically depict them. The first sketch is the two sides of duality shown through emotions on a persons face. to do so I would combine both emotions, half and half or side by side, on a single humans face. this image would represent the parallel between conflicting emotions. The second sketch represents the two topics, violence and peace, the sketches I chose for this was a fist and a peace symbol, however, I believe it would be better to use a single object that combines both topics. The last sketch depicts a devil and an angel. These two fictional beings were fabricated by humans and can be seen as a representation of humans good and evil.
For the colour scheme I plan to use minimal colours so each colour represents one of two sides. To show the clear difference between good and evil I would use colours that contrast each other or, in some cases, colours that overpower the former colour to show one side as more prevalent.
Themes describe how I will bring together the two topics into one image. The first theme is ‘Angel and Devil’, as previously mentioned the poster will involve an angel and devil representing good and evil. the second theme is ‘Hidden Appearance’, for this theme good will be the false identity of evil . The topic ‘Stress’ will show negative emotions overwhelming good. ‘Metaphorical Representation’ will depict good and evil through means not directly related to humans. ‘In the Shadows’ involves good being the main focus with evil in the shadows.
