For this post I have decided to focus on the visual campaign created for the game ‘Praey for the Gods’. Found on the games website, https://www.praeyforthegods.com/,the synopsis of the game reads ‘In Praey for the Gods, you play a lone hero sent to the edge of a dying world to discover the mystery behind a never-ending winter. Arriving with only the clothes on your back, you must survive the colossal dangers that you encounter. To restore balance and reclaim the land from the brink, you will be faced with questions that not even a God knows the answer to’. As this is a game I will be looking at the main concept poster this game advertised.

In the poster the main character can be seen facing what can be assumed to be one of the colossal dangers mentioned in the synopsis. The logo can also be seen in this poster.
Breaking down the image, it can be represented by three different aspects: the main character, the colossal god and the logo.
First of the main character can be seen in the bottom left of the image. this placement seems purposeful to show the difference between the main character(you) and what you are facing off against (gods). Although the main character is presented as at a disadvantage their stance still implicates they are not afraid.
Next the god can be clearly seen taking up the most space representing its power, the design of the god also feels almost dead which may relate to the story of the game.
Lastly the logo for the game represents it very well. The font has a rough look making it look like it was painted with primitive tools as it would be in a dying world. The e/a stands out as it resembles a person praying which links to the name itself being a double entendre with both prey and pray having meanings in the title.
