Seaside Collage

As with most tasks I started off by researching what makes a classic British seaside, I did this by using google images and reading different articles. As I was researching I was also collecting a multitude of different images that I would use in my collage.

At first I decided to start with a simple British seaside/coastline, this would be used as the background of my collage. I then proceeded to add images one by one by clipping out the parts I would use and placing them on the page. As I came close to finishing my collage I realised that it was a not what I think I needed as it was a bit to orderly and I placed things in a way that would make sense which in a collage isn’t always the best thing. therefore I decided to start again.

This time I decided to add in the objects first, this would allow me to focus less on the placement of the objects and focus more on the contents and deciding if I should be using the objects or not. In order to not space out the images to much I also decided to create a circle that would act as the frame for the collage. Once I added in all the images I then removed everything from the outside leading to the final collage.
